We will be at the park from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
Please bring your family, friends and picnic baskets and enjoy the park with us. We will supply some food, drinks and activities. We are also asking for school supply donations (Tax Deductible Donations) for needy kids returning to school this fall.

Darryl Thomas-Bey, a proud 1970 graduate of John Hay High School in Cleveland, Ohio, has built a legacy at the intersection of music,
entrepreneurship, and community service. As a student, Darryl majored n Music and Industrial Arts with a focus on electronics and was deeply
involved in the performing arts—participating in concert band, jazz band, orchestra, marching band, and choir. He also completed
coursework at The Cleveland Institute of Music and Cuyahoga Community College and earned a Journeyman Painter certificate from
Max S. Hayes Vocational School. After becoming a Journeyman painter, Darryl founded a successful
commercial painting business, which he operated for over 35 years while simultaneously launching and managing a thriving music industry
enterprise. A respected impresario with more than three decades of
experience as a concert promoter, producer, and curator, Darryl has
worked with iconic artists and shaped the cultural landscape through dynamic and unforgettable events. His career
is marked by creative innovation, logistical excellence, and a deep commitment to audience engagement and artistic
integrity.
Darryl is also the owner of BlueBird Bistro & Wine Bar, a boutique dining destination located in historic downtown
Fort Pierce, Florida. Known for its intimate ambiance, carefully curated wine list, elevated comfort food, and live
music programming, BlueBird Bistro has quickly become a cultural hub for locals and visitors alike. With just 50
seats and a strong emphasis on hospitality, the Bistro reflects Darryl’s lifelong passion for music, community, and
creating spaces that bring people together. From jazz nights to wine tastings and chef-led dinners, the Bistro offers
guests a warm, soulful, and sensory-rich experience.
